Fish Short Story Prize 2012

One of the more costly competitions to enter, Fish Publishing produces an annual anthology to showcase the winners of their international competition. The competition has no limitations regarding theme, content or style. This year’s judge is David Mitchell (author of Cloud Atlas). Fish also run simultaneous poetry, memoir and flash fiction competitions.

Word count: up to 5000

Prize: Publication, 1st – €3000, 2nd – a week at the Anam Cara Writers’ & Artists’ Retreat , with €300 traveling expenses, 3rd – €300

Fee: €20
